Marco: Do we look reasonable to you? Mal: Well. Looks can be deceiving. Jayne: Not as deceiving as a low down dirty... deceiver.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Thank you all for the encouraging words. It IS getting better. The training I have to do with the new girl tomorrow, I actually know ahead of time what I need to do. And a lot of it will be her reading (oh, so much reading) and filling out worksheets on what she is reading. So I will be able to actually do things with the people who live there, during the direct care portions of my schedule.

Matt, how horrible for your friend.

typing with gloves because it is that cold in my apartment! I had the air on last night because it was too warm to sleep with the window open. I don't think I need to have it opened tonight! I will take the AC out of the window tomorrow and close the storm windows.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

But big thumbs up to my migraine medication which is like magic. Took it after the appointment, laid down, and 90 minutes later I was renewed!

I need some of that! Last weekend I had a 3.5-day migraine that took me out of a couple of important days of work. I seem to be getting them much more often lately.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm expecting a migraine tomorrow, because it's 67 degrees right now, at almost 11 p.m., and will be 36 degrees by 8 a.m.

MADNESS. And then it's only going to get back up to about 47 tomorrow. Today's high was 77 or 78. No way my sinuses are going to be okay with all of that.

Also, I ate some popcorn earlier and I think a piece of the hull slid up under my gum line and I can't get it out. But then I aggressively flossed to try to get it out and now my gums are just angry in general. Boo.

We've got that same temperature curve going.

I wish I could figure out what my migraine triggers are. I probably should take an antihistamine/decongestant as a precaution.

Yeah, I can't really pre-medicate with my migraine meds, because they have caffeine in them and then I won't sleep. I may take ibuprofen before bed just in case, though.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

From my tumblr feed tonight:

For those not following on twitter - Mike Pence went to Hamilton tonight - got booed by the entire audience, was subjected to massive extended applause after "Immigrants, we get the job done", and then King George sang "What Comes Next?" directly to him leading to a three minute standing ovation for the King.

Finally some good news.
