Home again, home again. Definitely a migraine, but the pain is like a 1, maybe 1.5 However, I have crazy nausea. I almost booted on the plan, which was a totally normal smooth flight. But I didn't, thank god.
My FitBit glitched and told me I was 6,000 steps over my goal when I was only at 5,100 steps. (Though it wouldn't be unheard of for me to make my step goal –900 steps.)
The trade war has hit my library
It hit my theatre the day after the tariffs were announced. Even though we ordered a new Genie lift before that date they hadn't started building it yet so it's going to cost an extra $600 or so. I've been getting notices from other vendors that various products will be going up anywhere from 6-12%.
I have been wondering how aluminum tariffs will impact us but I don't know who to ask.
I didn't think Bustle would spoil me for Infinity War, but scrolling article titles last night I ran across a very minor spoiler that I won't share here. (The title mentioned a thing I was assuming would happen -- not something major, like "Everyone Becomes Lizard People Who Tap Dance and Juggle" -- but still. Dang, Bustle.) Glad I'm seeing it in 2 1/2 hours.
Migraine is still barely lingering -- maybe a 0.5 on a scale of 0-10. That won't stop me from seeing the movie. Hell, back in the day, I saw Batman Begins with a full-on migraine with a pain level of about 7. I don't recommend it, but I wasn't going to let a migraine stop me.
Marvel execs must be wiggling in their board room chairs with utter delight at the amount of buzz.
Due to the DH having a bunch of end of the month articles to get out, we aren't going until Wednesday. I assume I'll be spoiled in some fashion by then, but I'm hoping to be somewhat unscathed.
I might be able to go next weekend, depending on how I'm feeling after surgery. I failed to set up a sitter for this weekend.
Repeating what I just said on FB because shit gets lost there: GUYS, NO TAGGING ME INTO OR SHARING NSFW STUFF ON MY WALL!
My sheltered 17-year-old niece is on FB, I use it for professional networking, and there are things my mother doesn't need to know.
TCG took ltc to the library, errands, and lunch earlier today. Came home with coffee for me, and now he has her outside doing yardwork. It seems that Mother's Day came early this year.
