TCG took ltc to the library, errands, and lunch earlier today. Came home with coffee for me, and now he has her outside doing yardwork. It seems that Mother's Day came early this year.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Personal services day for me -- massage and my first pedicure of the year. I didn't wait quite long enough to put my shoes back on, so they already look chipped, but oh well.
Well, the first attempt at Avengers was a bust. Our usual, slightly scary theater is almost always mostly deserted, but it was mobbed today. Next try, tomorrow, 9:30AM.
Timelies all!
Having a party tonight for my (belated) birthday. Have no idea how many people are coming.
84 degrees high today, 54 degrees on Monday, with rain. Last week it would have been snow I guess. When I wanted it to stop being February, I didn't mean that I wanted it to be June.
Not sure when we will fit in movie time. I am at least partly spoiled but wasn't avoiding them.
Well done TCG!!
Enjoy the partying, Sheryl.
At my sister's house for her birthday today. Going wedding dress shopping tomorrow.
Repeating what I just said on FB because shit gets lost there: GUYS, NO TAGGING ME INTO OR SHARING NSFW STUFF ON MY WALL!
Good god, that goes for me, too. I'm friends with most of Tim's family and a nun.
re: Antiques Roadshow: It's sad when people get a high valuation for something they like and they say "Oh, no" and look horrified and talk about they couldn't possibly keep it now. Maybe some of it is security fears, but I get the impression that they don't think they're allowed to own something valuable, like it's above their station. It was a lovely thing that made them happy, but then it becomes something "too grand" for them. The appraisers are always so happy when someone nods firmly and says "I'm still going to wear it/use it/have it out."
Ah, the British: an excited appraiser looking at a historically significant item: "It's going to take me a while to get over this. It's going to take a couple of bars of chocolate and a cup of tea."
"Have some chocolate. It really helps." --Remus Lupin
