In an interview Tuesday, Mr. Hogg said they had been singled out because of their prominence and emphasized that ad homonym attacks would not end school shootings.
I don't think that means what you think it means. It only sort of sounds like you think it means.

Also, some of my kosher-for-passover foood is being delivered today and it is ridiculous how excited I am to try new snacks! There are two reform synagogues in Vallejo and a Chabad house in Vacaville but I don't know where those people shop, the whole county is pretty scarce on kosher anything.

We are well-stocked with Passover snacks, thanks to Moti's Kosher Mart. I do wish the regular supermarkets had better selections, but it is what is.
I was dreading next summer, but now it looks like 2020 for JWST launch. It's not great. A couple years of budget limbo with this nightmare admin.
sarameg, I haven't looked at the budget, but many of the articles I've seen assert that the Democrats got increases in science spending over the last few years. Maybe that will help?
I should take a look & see what our budget looks like, but since I don't set any priorities it's kind of pointless.
I don't mind his self-confidence in general, but seriously dude. His inability to recognize that people with way more experience might have a clue is a real handicap.
