Buffista Island?
That looks pretty.
The main cabin, pictured, is roughly 600 square feet.
Oh HELL no!

Two acres is not a lot of land.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Allyson!
Clearly tear down the current cabins, build a multi-story.
Also houseboats.
Birthday Happies to Allyson and her super shiny hair!
Two acres is not a lot of land.
Or at least not for all 50-100 of us...
Happy birthday, Allyson!
I find the cabins charming, but not really practical for the lot of us.
That cottage on the island looks marvelous. Can I spend the summer there?
Happy belated birthday, Allyson.
Over here, a few weeks ago I agreed of having the Seder with my extended family and not with friends as usual. That was probably my first mistake. The second was worse. After a few Seders with friends with a humanistic and chopped Haggadah with nice and more contemporary bits on freedom, I have sadly forgotten that suggesting a few additions to the traditional text with my extended family is the equivalent of starting a land war in Asia.
I especially loved that one of the notes on a line that paraphrased Jewish sources from the past 700 years and included the words freedom and solidarity was "it is taken from the French motto". Oh yes, those wacky Eastern European/Middle Eastern Jews and their French ideas of freedom and solidarity.
