A trombone, Jesse? That's so cool! Did you always play or is this a new thing?
I just started a couple of months ago, and decided that the two hours a week on a borrowed trombone probably wasn't enough to actually get anywhere. I have to say, I have good craigslist luck -- a couple of weeks of looking, and there was one basically as cheap as I had seen them, an easy bus ride away.
And I did make it home and back out again before the movie. Phew.
Am feeling very WTF about Frankenbuddha.
I'm thinking sushi for dinner. There is a newish Sushi/Thai place here that I haven't been to yet, and the menu is very enticing. It is going to be a struggle to choose though. There are 10 different soups and I won't attempt to count the roll options.

Indeed. I think I interacted with him more at the F2F than I did on the board. The last time he visited the board he was going through such a hard time. It is just so very sad.
It's a blow. I am sad and bewildered.
Sad and bewildered is a good description.
Peace to Frankenbudda.
Discovered last year how limited accessibility is, even at places that should be concerned like doctor's offices.
Seriously. My orthopedic surgeon is in a medical building that seems like it should be accessible, but it is the only place I have fallen. The lobby has cobblestone like tiles and the side walk out front is so uneven. I hit a lip and toppled off my scooter - thankfully onto a bench I was next to, but that could have been so much worse. The elevators are tiny and I can't turn around in them. The automatic door buttons into his office are NOT near the doors.
Ok, done with that fuss. Met up with some friends from DCC leadership for a game night. It was fun to catch up with folks I haven't really seen since last year. So good to get out and just laugh for 5 hours!
My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Frankenbuddha.
He was just a good dude, damn it.

He was. I had many conversations with him here about music and film.
I am so sorry to hear about Frankenbuddha. Loved reading him here every now and then. Peace to him and lots of ~ma to his friends and loved ones.
