Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

One new neighbor has an old beagle and a younger beagle mix.

I need an old beagle and a young beagle. The power of Dog compels you!

I have to wear reading glasses now when I have my contacts in. I'm not happy about this.

Sorry about the parents not taking medical stuff seriously enough. That'll probably be me when I'm 70, though.

Strix, glad the moving went well. Yay and slight envy for the deep tub!

Bev, my sympathies. I have the floaty vision things too. Worse sometimes than others, wish I knew what made the difference.

Glad you got an appointment, -t, and I hope the problem is easily fixed.

Gud, office politics sucks. Sorry you have to deal with it.

Yeah, accessibility becomes really obvious when you have to deal with it.

Yep. Discovered last year how limited accessibility is, even at places that should be concerned like doctor's offices.

Happy anniversary, Laura!

Happy St. Gertrude's Day, all you cat lovers!

That means ice cream! Mainly for me but a few licks for Murray.

I watched the trailer for Amy Schumer's new movie I Feel Pretty, and now I feel like dogcrap. I wish I could Mute her from my life.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My real problem is, I wanted to go to a 4:30 movie, and now don't think I'll have time to go home first. Is it ok to carry a big case into the movies because I'm a middle-aged woman?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy Anniversary, Laura!

Hope the pain eases soon, Theo.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is it ok to carry a big case into the movies

If it has a trombone in it, absolutely.

Phew, she showed and I think I can make it.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Anniversary Laura!

We went to Bowie to see a friend do his St. Patrick's day gig at a pub.(Well, restaurant/pub)

A trombone, Jesse? That's so cool! Did you always play or is this a new thing?

Happy anniversary, Laura!

I made it out to dog class, where we actually got hailed on, and I got kind of chilled, so I'm now huddled under a wool blanket on the futon. I am not celebrating St. Patrick's day: I have no interest in public drunkenness.

I'm dithering about quitting my chorus. I have missed a lot of rehearsals this season, and for some reason I haven't really connected with anyone there, so it isn't a big social draw. Plus, having Monday nights free means I could climb then instead, which I would really like to do. OTOH, I only have 2 months until the one yearly concert we do. So I will probably stick it out until then, and then drop it. I enjoy it mostly, but between my hearing problem and inability to read music, I'm not exactly pulling my weight. Sigh.

Our wings are not tired.

Back from the St. Patrick's Day Parade. 50th anniversary one for the city. It was hot, but a good time was had by all. Good mix of firefighters, commercial floats, and general citizenry. The float giving away fans was popular.

Happy Anniversary, Laura and Brendon!
