My life is getting too boring. I need to do something to brighten it up. Saturday a friend of mine is having ehr 40th birthday party and she's in Richmond, so that'll be a little road trip. I like short road trips. I should think about doing that more often.

Hil and I saw Neil Gaiman tonight -- he spoke for about 2 hours, and I could have listened to him for 2 more, easily. So great.
I got called into my manager's office, he said it wasn't bad news...and it was great news. I was employee of the month for Jan!

Thanks. After how stressed O was over Christmas tbis feels realy good. Especially since my flexibility with my schedule was one thing that was mentioned. I had been so stressed about missing work because of weather and other things.
I am also taking on and being given more responsibility and being treated like a team lead. It's been a really long time since I have felt confident about being in any kind of position like this.

I just had my annual review and it went fine so you can have any left over ~ma I might have.
I have to have part eleventy of my mid-year review today where I'm sure I'm going to get the same feedback I got last time. I really like my boss, but she likes to repeat herself sometimes.
