Thanks. After how stressed O was over Christmas tbis feels realy good. Especially since my flexibility with my schedule was one thing that was mentioned. I had been so stressed about missing work because of weather and other things.

I am also taking on and being given more responsibility and being treated like a team lead. It's been a really long time since I have felt confident about being in any kind of position like this.

I just had my annual review and it went fine so you can have any left over ~ma I might have.

I have to have part eleventy of my mid-year review today where I'm sure I'm going to get the same feedback I got last time. I really like my boss, but she likes to repeat herself sometimes.

Our reviews are going to be weird this year, because I have a different supervisor (technically) but my day to day reporting and work hasn't actually changed from my faculty boss. SO he has to meet with her, and then give me my review. I have only ever interacted with him in meetings.

That's strange.

My day so far:

Me: I can't log on to servers. I tried to change my password to fix it, but that didn't fix it.

IT: Did you change your password?

Me: ...yes.

IT: Did you change it in Windows?

Me: When I try in Windows, I get this error message. "Blah blah blah."

IT: Try Ctrl Alt Delete and change your password.

Me: ...YES, that's what I JUST DID.

Rinse, repeat.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? (that is what is written on the coffee cup my niece gave me)
