Any chance it's the mild flu, msbelle?

No fever so I don't think so. Can malaise be an official diagnosis?
I'm sorry msbelle. That definitely sounds like malaise.
Tangent - my dad played on a soccer team called The Current Malaise back in the day.
Can malaise be an official diagnosis?
If so, I'm on that bench with you.
Can malaise be an official diagnosis?
If it isn't, it should be.
I had a few days of blah and ow in January, so whatever it is, it's going around.
Malaise, malaise, malaise, the word has lost all meaning, but see, divorced from meaning it's a pretty collection of sounds... like clothesline.
I could almost hear the brane gears grinding fruitlessly this AM before coffee and meds. H asked a question--simple, easy, but mulitpart answer. I just blinked at him, ouchy and incapable of beginning the first part. Coffee and meds on board, braining is now possible.
I honestly don't remember what feeing *good* feels like.
I took a few minutes during lunch to fix the garage door. It's good to have that out of the way. There was even enough slack in the wires that I didn't need to splice in a new section, just cut out the bad and the reconnect.
Nice, Gud.
I am actually feeling pretty good lately! Post nasal drip and a cough, but that's all I can complain about. My achy muscles are from exercise, so that's ok.
Malaise sounds about right.
I went out for a meeting and they gave me a cupcake! So that was nice.
But I'm still half-fantasizing about the idea that I might need surgery and how long I could stay out of work if that were the case. If I don't need surgery, I am going to schedule a spring staycation anyway, because I am OVER IT. (Did I ever tell you people about my shoulder? I wrenched it in my sleep, I guess, over the summer, and it's never really healed, so I'm finally seeing an ortho next week.)
