Nice, Gud.
I am actually feeling pretty good lately! Post nasal drip and a cough, but that's all I can complain about. My achy muscles are from exercise, so that's ok.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Malaise sounds about right.
I went out for a meeting and they gave me a cupcake! So that was nice.
But I'm still half-fantasizing about the idea that I might need surgery and how long I could stay out of work if that were the case. If I don't need surgery, I am going to schedule a spring staycation anyway, because I am OVER IT. (Did I ever tell you people about my shoulder? I wrenched it in my sleep, I guess, over the summer, and it's never really healed, so I'm finally seeing an ortho next week.)
Also, I'm basically going to spend all day tomorrow talking about racial discrimination and sexual harassment, so that should be fun?
I got called into my manager's office, he said it wasn't bad news...and it was great news. I was employee of the month for Jan! They are a little behind.
As a gift I got to pick one of the perfume testers. They send way too many so I got a full size bottle of J'adore. They also said my sales at that point were about half the store sales.
Jesse, I hope they figure out your shoulder. I had AC repair surgery 6 years ago today. After months and months of "oh, its your rotator cuff, you just need to strengthen the muscles". Anyway, immediate relief after the surgery - was using my shoulder the day after.
I just got my jury duty postponement approved. It was originally scheduled for next week and...I just can't. So, now it is early May.
Go askye!!! Congratulations!
Congrats, askye! Way to go!
I seem to have run out of brain. Only an hour left of work, so that's not so bad, I guess.
Askye, your success at this store is excellent news!
No fever so I don't think so.
Erm, the person I accompanied to the ER who tested positive for H1N1 influenza never had a fever - never got above 98.4 - which is a smidge high for that person but not even a whole degree higher than usual. So I'm not taking fever as a must-have for influenza any more.
Timelies all!
Yay, Askye!
Huh. Well that's confusing.
