I went to a performance of Tartuffe last night. It was so much fun! I love live theater when I go, but I'm so resistant to planning viewings. I need to get over that.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yeah, same. I love when I Do Stuff! But do I? Eh.
Speaking of doing stuff, I can't believe our family friend still had his driving test yesterday. But he did, and passed! (In my mother's car, which is why I know about it.)
ND, if you like seafood I can't recommend Bristol's in Creve Coeur highly enough.
Is that The Bristol with 2 places in KC? That's where Maria and I had their amazing Sunday brunch. Which is well worth it.
Timelies all!
The blinds guy is installing blinds here. He's done all the bedrooms, and is now doing the kitchen. After he's done, we'll go get lunch and haircuts.(Well, Gary and Mr. S will get the latter.)
As I lay in bed, not-sleeping in, I had this day dream of inviting the neighbors to hang out in our yard on Friday evenings - I'd make a pitcher of lemonade, have fruit and veggies to offer for snacks, get yard games to play... maybe somebody would feel like grilling. We had two new families move in to the block, and the weather has sucked so bad I haven't gone to introduce myself, and it's been so long since they first moved in I feel a bit shy. But stll, it would be possible to make up for lost time, right?
Sure, WindSparrow! That's a lovely idea.
Day two of WhimsyCon (steampunk/costuming). So many amazing outfits. I've been busy and unable to take pictures - but WOWOWOWOW!
K-Bug and grandkid are here, painting a Starry Night, and then they can add a geeky silhouette. I think one will have Batman.
We have a friend who sleeps in a hammock every night...in his apartment in NYC. He loves it and says it's cured all his back pain. He's done this for years. No trees in his studio apartment.
Fun, Suzi!
