I have a spreadsheet of individual documents with issues, am tracking data gathered on what the problems might be, am tracking when they are fixed.
developer sent me a list of several documents and listed what the issue was
I fixed the easily fixable ones
I sent back a list of documents NOT listed on his list and said, hey this weren't on your list and I already checked all these things, could you look at them
He emails back, well have you tried changing this thing (I need him to tell me the # for that thing to change, I cannot see it on my screens)
I reply, I am trying to determine the # of the thing to change, that is why I asked you.

HE SENDS ME BACK HIS ORIGINAL LIST!! DOES NOT REMOVE THE ONES I HAVE ALREADY FIXED. IGNORES THAT I NOTED THAT THESE ARE NOT ON HIS GD LIST.

I emailed him back. "These are not on your list."

Meanwhile, month-end prelim close is tomorrow and I've got issues going back to 2/10 now. GRRRRRR

It's giving me some hope.

I wish I was to that point. I would like to see the gun control movement pick up steam like the #MeToo movement did. We will see if people actually vote out the greedy NRA money grabbing politicians. I'll believe it when I see it.

First world work from home problem, my Netflix via TiVo keeps dropping. I am slowly working through these work issues, so my entertainment botching up is a bummer.

News just now is footage of +/- 2,000 students from the *four high schools* in Bellingham who walked out today and marched in protest against gun violence. Parents were in attendance, and brought younger kids, one of whom was wearing a bulletproof vest with a sign that read, "This is not a school uniform."

Out of all this fuckwittery and despair, there gleams a bright hope in the future.

I went to the doctor this afternoon, and even though I've been feeling a little tubby, I am just at my same weight I've been 75% of my adult life! So that's reassuring.

When I saw it on the news tonight (the students in Florida, and some students in Cincy), I just cried and cried. Because we have failed them SO badly that they have to do this themselves. It's so fucking unfair.

I sent an email to my mom with travel plan ultimatum that will either make her freak out & cry or be relieved.

I shouldn't even offer her options, but babysteps. Hopefully book last of lodging & flights tomorrow.
