It's giving me some hope.
I wish I was to that point. I would like to see the gun control movement pick up steam like the #MeToo movement did. We will see if people actually vote out the greedy NRA money grabbing politicians. I'll believe it when I see it.
Vent away, msbelle!!
It must be weird for HRC. Not many people claim an international conspiracy against them and be proven right.
100% you know that Paul Ryan, Mitch, and all the rest of the GOP would be screaming for a new election based on Russian meddling, if it had been decided for Clinton. Yes, I am very bitter.
I hope the Isle of Wight is not too dear, Laura.
Ha! As long as I don't have to knit.
Just a little scrimping and saving should do it. Hopefully Vera, Chuck, and Dave don't have expensive tastes.
First world work from home problem, my Netflix via TiVo keeps dropping. I am slowly working through these work issues, so my entertainment botching up is a bummer.
Excuse me if we're avoiding the subject, but I just have to share. News just now is footage of +/- 2,000 students from the *four high schools* in Bellingham who walked out today and marched in protest against gun violence. Parents were in attendance, and brought younger kids, one of whom was wearing a bulletproof vest with a sign that read, "This is not a school uniform."
Out of all this fuckwittery and despair, there gleams a bright hope in the future.
Back to Natterage.
These kids are not fucking around, and they will be voting in 2020. If not 2018. I love it.
I went to the doctor this afternoon, and even though I've been feeling a little tubby, I am just at my same weight I've been 75% of my adult life! So that's reassuring.
Out of all this fuckwittery and despair, there gleams a bright hope in the future.
When I saw it on the news tonight (the students in Florida, and some students in Cincy), I just cried and cried. Because we have failed them SO badly that they have to do this themselves. It's so fucking unfair.
I sent an email to my mom with travel plan ultimatum that will either make her freak out & cry or be relieved.
I shouldn't even offer her options, but babysteps. Hopefully book last of lodging & flights tomorrow.
Good luck with all of that, sarameg.
Do not listen to the children. They are not money.
