Y'all, I don't know what possessed me (maybe the spirit of Monica Geller?), but I just spent the last half hour on my kitchen floor scrubbing with vinegar and water—my kitchen hasn't been this clean in years!

I think the snow has turned to sleet. Glad I decided to go get the new-to-me tablesaw early. Was debating going back out, but now I think nah.

I got all of the boxes and wrapping and everything out of the house and into the trash/recycling bins, and even vacuumed! Now I just need someone to buy my old table.

Decided to just stay home for the Super Bowl. Low carb diet city here so we are having deviled eggs, spinach/artichoke dip filled baby peppers, big fresh salad, and mounds of peel and eat shrimp.

#1 son is here (let's hope he goes to a friend's house), so I am hoping there isn't overly emotional involvement in a game that means nothing to anyone but him. We just watch for fun.

eta: suhweet! Just noticed the shrimp DH bought is peeled.

yesterday was weird i. We got up ,because someone called to borrow one of Matt's guitarrs, then I strte picking up getting ready to move the new to us couch and chair in. And we decided to go big - and rearrange to room. and while DH was out grabbing a few things - my bad tooth flared up and I had an emergency root canal. Then we came home and moved mor e stuff. - including calling a friend for some help to move the couch. And then some friends had us meet them at a bar for a drink - and then fed us dinner. The living room is in pretty decent shape , but the rest of the house is covered in stuff. but I get to go to work in half an hour

I am hungry but the Thai restaurant doesn't open until noon. I feel this is deeply unfair.

Timelies all!

After we get lunch and groceries, I am going to the library.(Agatha nominations came out earlier in the week, and I put a bunch of books on hold. Most of them are in now)

Doing our usual Superbowl thing, which is order in pizza and watch the commercials.

After I finished my football food plan my vegan friend texted me asking if she could join us. Ooops - good friend so I told her to bring her own food or hummus, peppers, and lettuce would be her choices. I have always had her here previous years but hadn't invited her since she had one of those bs memes about boycotting the game over players kneeling. So I figured she wasn't watching. Guess she got over it.

We're having shrimp cocktail and jalapeno poppers and wings. Maybe turning on the game, I guess?
