Sophia, you shouldn't have pain after a root canal, but did you have something else done already?

I came in and worked hard for 3+ hours IN A ROW, and then I took a break, and now I'm afraid I can't get back to working. Yikes.

I fell down the last three stairs at 2:30 in the morning, when on the way to take a dog out in the freezing cold for his upset stomach. Landed on my side. Still had to get up at 7:45 to be ready for the work men redoing our bathroom. First world problems, but I feel kinda beat up today, I have to say.

My husband did not wake up from the dog whining or my loud landing from the fall. or so he says, YET I STILL LOVE HIM.

We have family drama here related to my mother's passing and the relationship between my sibs and step-dad. It is really bad and it makes me sad that my expectations came true. There are no good solutions.

Tomorrow's my last day at the bakery. I told them they should run a pool on when I'll start crying. Catherine keeps looking at me like I'm about to embark on a long, dangerous journey (it's been very bittersweet and teary all week) and a lot of customers are hugging me and wishing me well, which is sort of surprising and really touching.

I didn't have a root canal- they filed away the cavity and replaced it with a temporary filling, with instructions to call general dentistry for a root canal. So the infected root is still in there (my choice was this or pulling the tooth) I called them, and their first available exam is Monday, and the root canal would be scheduled after that.

This is something that I try and work on. DH#1 used to tell me that he would prefer that I get pissed off once a month rather than saving it for 5 years and spilling it all at once on him. When he said it I knew he was right, but not easy to change.

Alas, it is the 3 sibs against step-dad and rather than have my mother haunt me I have to try and protect him. They are cruel horrible people, and they don't recognize it, and if I lose them all doing the right thing, so be it.
