Mal: Then I call it a win. What's the problem? Inara: Should I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Just sitting here crying at the finale of the Great British Bake-Off. Not a new one, one I've seen several times! But how can you not???

3 interviews down, 3 to go (that we know of, Ive got 25 more resumes to go through.) I think they all are great candidates, but each had a minor downside. One might not be a long termer(grad school hopeful); one hit all the right buttons, but cannot start until June,; one is perfect on paper and highly self motivated and loves data mgmt, but was clearly nervous & harder to draw out. We'll see. Boss was impressed with our picks.

I put two job offers in motion today! Thank god, because I need to get those people on the team. Two men, which is weird for me -- there hasn't been a man on my team in a long time, and I've never actually hired a man ever!

Of course!

Did you see Great Family Cook-Off, where Nadia's one of the hosts?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I think I needs Ghost Radar app, because that sounds delightfully ridiculous.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Nothing paranormal has happened on any of the ghost tours I've been on (hey, I frequently vacation in Eureka Springs and the haunted hotels are the ones with the most character there!), but they're a fun way to spend an evening. I think the closest I've come is feeling a chill when exiting the Seance Room at the Winchester Mystery House, and that might have just been a microclimate thing due to the darkened attic.
