Natter 75: More Than a Million Natters Served
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Of course! Even Mary Berry was choked up!!
3 interviews down, 3 to go (that we know of, Ive got 25 more resumes to go through.) I think they all are great candidates, but each had a minor downside. One might not be a long termer(grad school hopeful); one hit all the right buttons, but cannot start until June,; one is perfect on paper and highly self motivated and loves data mgmt, but was clearly nervous & harder to draw out. We'll see. Boss was impressed with our picks.
I put two job offers in motion today! Thank god, because I need to get those people on the team. Two men, which is weird for me -- there hasn't been a man on my team in a long time, and I've never actually hired a man ever!
Of course!
Did you see Great Family Cook-Off, where Nadia's one of the hosts?
No, I need to.
I think I needs Ghost Radar app, because that sounds delightfully ridiculous.
That one did tempt me, Jilli.
Nothing paranormal has happened on any of the ghost tours I've been on (hey, I frequently vacation in Eureka Springs and the haunted hotels are the ones with the most character there!), but they're a fun way to spend an evening. I think the closest I've come is feeling a chill when exiting the Seance Room at the Winchester Mystery House, and that might have just been a microclimate thing due to the darkened attic.
There were many stories about ghosts at the Bonstelle Theatre in Detroit, but I only had one instance that felt...different. There is a room in the dome where a few very rarely needed things are stored. I had been in there before, but one time I went in the light wouldn't turn on (which doesn't phase me if I know where things are) and I suddenly had a very strong, distinct impression that I did NOT belong there. It was so strange because I had totally been on task and TCOB until that instant. The next time I went in there everything was fine.
Still, I feel like when Mordor sends us Orcs, they aren't sending their best.
I've never understood this idea. Mordor isn't sending them, for one. And I would think the Orcs trying to find a better life outside of Mordor would actually be the go-getters.
