I just think you're freakin' out 'cause you have to fight someone prettier than you.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

they are -- I'm not kidding -- photos of hand-drawn figures on spiral-bound notebook paper.

Once I had a co-worker scan in sketches she'd drawn on an honest to Gaia, literal napkin and send them to me as directions for redesigning the website. I don't really miss some aspects of that job.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

It was too damn cold tonight; I rescheduled a previously planned hook-up because I got brain freeze from breathing outside while feeding the alley cats.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Do you mean the cats or the hook-up, Connie?

What is a "Modern Old Fashioned"? A drink, I presume?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Husband has a phone interview this afternoon for a job in Charlotte. Vibes for..."Woohoo, it's not Waco", I guess?

Our wings are not tired.

~ma for the DH, Dana. Every time my DH watches the HGTV show that is in Waco I say to him, "but those houses are in Waco!".

Seriously. I have no idea how that town is sustaining that whole industry.

Slow day, my co-workers are making spaceship noises and critiquing each other. "You call that a tractor beam? That's microphone feedback."

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Eight-hour work days are just too dang long. Five hours is all I can do before my brain starts to rebel and shut down.
