Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Our wings are not tired.

We spent all day tromping about Paris

Didn't even need to read more to develop a fine green pallor.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Congratulations Noise and Pix on the house! What a fine home you'll make up there.

Still, my phone says we got 19,000 steps today. Woot!

That's a lot of tromps!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yup! Cousin and family en route, so now we're washing sheets and preparing to move to a different room. Super fun!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Congrats on the house!

Back to work today, though I was kind of looking forward to it. Not many people around the lab.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

After I get done licking Consuela's post, this screen is gonna be a mess.

I want grandchildren. Looks at Harvey and Sammie... Hrmph, I may have taken that decision out of their, err, paws.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congratulations on the dream house, ND and Pix!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I tried to do a return, no receipt (mac purchased) and they would not do refund or exchange, so now we search for receipt.

Then sold a box of mostly mac's books for $20.

Then I bought this

and this in both black/silver sequin and pink fur

because reasons.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yay new house!

EM - who has converted to Catholicism - was hanging out for another 45 minutes until mass. And Emmett and I had a gloriously fun time taunting her by drinking champagne and watching her fume and squirm (because even though a new convert she would have rather been home drinking). I don't know why it was so funny - but it totally was. Wicked but fun.

Wait, what kind of Catholics don't drink? Isn't giving stuff up for Lent before Easter, not Christmas?
