So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Our wings are not tired.

Being strong is totally overrated.

It really is. So much love and support for all of you. Parents, Kids, Pets, these are a few of our most stressful things.

My day is actually going much better than the previous few so I will share some uplifting stuff. First, the Flynn stuff rocks and I love Dana's visual muchly. Second, I am applying for a refinance of my house and one of the things to pay off is a Home Depot bill for the hurricane windows I installed. It was supposed to be paid off last month to get 0% interest and wasn't, so they hit me with $4350 in interest charges! When I wrote to them with my sob story and asked if it could be forgiven if I paid it this month, they said YES. They will deduct the $4350 if I pay it off by 1/6/18. That is real money, yo! Now the bank just needs to approve the loan and it all falls together.

Because books.

Love and hugs to everyone who would like some. It's a hard time of year to be facing sad stuff.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Michael Flynn is pleading guilty today, and in all likelihood has flipped. So maybe things are starting to look up.

Merry f'ing Christmas!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Holy crap, Laura! Good luck with all that.

Strix, have you been in touch with your local Alz Association? They might have a support group or something that would be useful, even if it's all old people. If nothing else, sometimes it's nice to have a place to cry.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Suzi, I am so sorry.

The news about Flynn is good, but I'm alternating between trying not to get my hopes up too much and cackling with glee.

I'm thrilled about Flynn, because there's no doubt he's flipped, but now I'm REALLY worried that Trump will fire Mueller.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

ABC (and maybe others) are saying that Flynn will testify that Trump, when he was a candidate, told him to make contact with the Russians.

Get that treasonous motherfucker out of the Oval Office NOW.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

They'll need a second witness to corroborate for a treason conviction, though I imagine that's not necessary for impeachment.

Yeah, I don't need a treason conviction; I just like calling him a treasonous motherfucker. Because he is.
