One news source is saying 7 dead, 11 injured. I wish they would just wait to say until they're sure.
You must be exhausted, Laura. But welcome home!
Most people think I'm a piece of Halloween decor until I move, which is the best game ever.
I would love to see that.
In my first microbiology lab section this morning, Darth Vader was sitting next to Deadpool. I'm still not sure who would win that fight...but my students enjoyed me geeking out about it!
Glad you're home, Laura. Sounds like a night to order in and relax.
I planned to get things done today but every time I sit down a cat jumps on me. Bathroom and kitchen are clean. I don't think cleaning out the storage locker will happen, but I really do need to vacuum the furniture and at least swiffer the floors.
Timelies all!
After dinner, Gary is going to take Mr. S trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Mr. S will be in a monkey costume. Truth in advertising...
We've had our six trick-or-treaters, and I'll be surprised if we get any more.
We had a group of 8 (no Wonder Womans, but 1 Kylo Ren), and we have to leave in less than half an hour for a concert, so we may have a ton of candy left (oh dang).
There are a billion kids this year. They had a big thing at the park in front of my house so most of those kids came by, and now the hoards of other kids. We always get a lot. Fortunately Bobby & Tate are dealing with them since they seem way too fussy and demanding to me in my tired grumpy state.
I did make a superb stir fried rice with roasted brussels sprouts, baby corns, and a super tasty peanut sauce. Also salad with berries and walnuts. Cooking soothes me. The family appreciates that for sure.
Oh, before I forget--
Happy Anniversary, Jilli and Pete!
I'm sorry to hear about Strega.
