That sounds good. Although I do like zucchini, too.
I had better stop eating out every day if this trial goes on as long as it's supposed to. But I think I'll still go out today. Maybe Italian. My usual strategy of heating up a frozen Neal in a microwave is not really available to me unless I go home. Which I could do I guess. Hmm.
The chairs in Hall of Justice I I are more comfortable than Superior Court, I'll give it that. My feet touch the floor, that's always nice.
Today is our Halloween potluck and pod decorating contest. My team did a massive effort with dozens of construction paper pumpkins and hand drawn cardboard cutouts of the Peanuts gang in the pumpkin patch. If we win, we get a pizza party. I also baked pumpkin shaped sugar cookies to bribe the judges...
Apparently my team took first place on the Halloween decorating contest at work. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures.
You know, when Trick or Treating time rolls around, I think I shall retire to my balcony with a drink and my tablet and my orange balcony lights and ignore anyone who rings my doorbell.
There are two kids who live near me who are the only two that I get candy for, and once they've gone, I pull the blinds down and turn off the lights and pretend I'm not home, or, get dressed warmly and go wander around the neighborhood. The neighborhood association sponsors a decorating contest and people go bonkers, some really good stuff.
I'm going to indulge in my trick or treating tradition, which is dress extra spooky, then stand very still outside with the candy and the jack o' lanterns. Most people think I'm a piece of Halloween decor until I move, which is the best game ever.
My team has decorated our area with a Stranger Things theme. We went pretty hard.
There's been some kind of incident in NYC. First reported as gunfire, now maybe a car hitting pedestrians? Or both? Strangely enough, I'm learning about this through Josh Groban's Twitter account.
Apparently the person is in custody, couple people dead. 4 critical injury from what they say.
Skipped a bunch to express my condolences for the loss of Strega.
I got home after midnight. Still haven't unpacked my car. Had zero food because of the hurricane but need to clean the fridge before putting new food in. Apparently a big thing in the park across the street from me for Halloween. Haven't even showered, but son & GF are coming over to deal with trick and treats. Just well, overwhelmed.
