My team has decorated our area with a Stranger Things theme. We went pretty hard.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
There's been some kind of incident in NYC. First reported as gunfire, now maybe a car hitting pedestrians? Or both? Strangely enough, I'm learning about this through Josh Groban's Twitter account.
Apparently the person is in custody, couple people dead. 4 critical injury from what they say.
Skipped a bunch to express my condolences for the loss of Strega.
I got home after midnight. Still haven't unpacked my car. Had zero food because of the hurricane but need to clean the fridge before putting new food in. Apparently a big thing in the park across the street from me for Halloween. Haven't even showered, but son & GF are coming over to deal with trick and treats. Just well, overwhelmed.
One news source is saying 7 dead, 11 injured. I wish they would just wait to say until they're sure.
You must be exhausted, Laura. But welcome home!
Most people think I'm a piece of Halloween decor until I move, which is the best game ever.
I would love to see that.
In my first microbiology lab section this morning, Darth Vader was sitting next to Deadpool. I'm still not sure who would win that fight...but my students enjoyed me geeking out about it!

That is AWESOME.
Glad you're home, Laura. Sounds like a night to order in and relax.
I planned to get things done today but every time I sit down a cat jumps on me. Bathroom and kitchen are clean. I don't think cleaning out the storage locker will happen, but I really do need to vacuum the furniture and at least swiffer the floors.
Timelies all!
After dinner, Gary is going to take Mr. S trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Mr. S will be in a monkey costume. Truth in advertising...
We've had our six trick-or-treaters, and I'll be surprised if we get any more.
We had a group of 8 (no Wonder Womans, but 1 Kylo Ren), and we have to leave in less than half an hour for a concert, so we may have a ton of candy left (oh dang).
