I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, man, I never knew Stephanie well but that is a blow.

I'm currently Juror 16. Meep. 32-day trial!

One of the lawyers asked me to explain my opinion on corporations. I was like "do we have that much time?" But I assured them I could be fair.

No questions about Eratosthenes or Al Khwarizmi, though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm sad about Strega. Even though I didn't really know her. She was part of the Board.

Kevin Spacey, newest addition to my growing list of actors with too much emotional baggage to ever again disappear into a role.

They're saying Papadopoulos is an even bigger deal than Manafort. Papadopoulos has probably been singing for months. The idea that Trump personally didn't know about the Russia collusion is looking more and more indefensible. MSNBC is salivating all over themselves.

Manafort and Gates have both plead not guilty to conspiracy. They're still going down for money laundering, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

They're still going down for money laundering, though.

This is key because Trump has been propped up financially by Russian money laundering for years.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Comments I"ve seen elsewhere about Kevin Spacey:

About fifteen or twenty years ago I knew a woman who was heavily involved in the Austin movie scene. She'd worked on a project with Spacey in it after he'd already become a big star, and she had said the job of one person on the crew was to daily deliver a different "barely legal" boy to Spacey's trailer every day he was on set. She'd said Spacey's predilections for young boys were no secret on the set or in the movie production community, and she'd get amused when the tabloid press would question Spacey's sexuality as it was obvious to her.

Raise your hand if you're in the film or theater community and you DON'T know someone who has a Kevin Spacey story.

Sounds like he's got as much history as Weinstein.

Though, to be honest, I'm a little put-off by the male actors coming forward now with their tales of sexual assault. On the one hand, it is a huge and longstanding issue in Hollywood and Yes, they have a right to be heard.

BUT it's derailing a much bigger issue about sexism that had been opened up with the Weinstein story. The narrative now becomes about Sexual Predator in Hollywood and that puts brackets around the story and closes it off.

The profound, historical, worldwide issues with sexual assault, sexual slavery, child-brides, abuse, assault, rape are SO much bigger and I had hoped that that dialogue would at least start here.

Now it's just about sexual predators in media.

Thrive to spite them

I kept thinking it would be money laundering with Trump . After reading 2 past depositions of Trump's and other stuff I have a hard time believing his wealth isn't much more than smoke and mirrors and money laundering.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Husband picked up food on his way home, and they left the chicken out of my salad. Curse you, Monday.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Sounds like he's got as much history as Weinstein.

Yes. Nobody I know in the TV/film/theater world was surprised.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Trump hasn't tweeted in seven hours. Maybe he's had a rage blackout.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am sorry to hear about Strega. Thank you for posting about it, Cindy.
