this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Trump hasn't tweeted in seven hours. Maybe he's had a rage blackout.

He knows that Papadopoulos has screwed him SO HARD.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

They took the phone and locked it in a small windowless room, and every time Trump looks for it, they say, "Oh, the phone was just here! You just missed it."

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

A judge has overruled Manafort's attorney-client privilege, citing the "crime-fraud exception", allowing Mueller to compel her to testify. "Her" being Manafort&Gates' attorney, name redacted.

This is...unusual.

Here's a link to the document.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wasn't George Papadopalous the name of Webster's dad in "Webster"?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Wasn't George Papadopalous the name of Webster's dad in "Webster"?

Yes, as Twitter has milked all day.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm sorry to hear about Strega.

Meanwhile, I got Mr. S home from daycare to find that one of the cats had pooped on the floor in his room. Mondays...

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I am so sorry about Strega. Like a lot of people, I didn't know her, but she was just organically, root-deep, bone-deep part of the board; every post of hers came with a little, "Ah, yes, of course, there she is!" Like a neighbor you don't know that well but see all the time a block or so away, just leaving the corner store or taking their dog for a walk or waiting for the bus. Part of the rhythm and life of the community.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm currently Juror 16. Meep. 32-day trial!

Holy crap! That's a long trial.

This all reminds me that I'm convinced I worked with someone on the Clinton grand jury. At least, I worked with someone in the DC area who was on a grand jury at that time. I'm pretty sure I left the temp job while it was still happening.

Sounds like he's got as much history as Weinstein.

Yes. Nobody I know in the TV/film/theater world was surprised.

I forget if I've said it here, but an old coworker of mine was picked up by James Toback (young, tall, blonde, new to New York), so yeah, none of any of this is actually a secret.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've moved up to Juror 12. And I think we are already on Day 4? They gave us the list of court dates the first but I am not sure I caught them all...

Jury selection : still not finished. I'm guessing wearing a costume to court tomorrow would be a bad idea.
