Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Comments I"ve seen elsewhere about Kevin Spacey:

About fifteen or twenty years ago I knew a woman who was heavily involved in the Austin movie scene. She'd worked on a project with Spacey in it after he'd already become a big star, and she had said the job of one person on the crew was to daily deliver a different "barely legal" boy to Spacey's trailer every day he was on set. She'd said Spacey's predilections for young boys were no secret on the set or in the movie production community, and she'd get amused when the tabloid press would question Spacey's sexuality as it was obvious to her.

Raise your hand if you're in the film or theater community and you DON'T know someone who has a Kevin Spacey story.

Sounds like he's got as much history as Weinstein.

Though, to be honest, I'm a little put-off by the male actors coming forward now with their tales of sexual assault. On the one hand, it is a huge and longstanding issue in Hollywood and Yes, they have a right to be heard.

BUT it's derailing a much bigger issue about sexism that had been opened up with the Weinstein story. The narrative now becomes about Sexual Predator in Hollywood and that puts brackets around the story and closes it off.

The profound, historical, worldwide issues with sexual assault, sexual slavery, child-brides, abuse, assault, rape are SO much bigger and I had hoped that that dialogue would at least start here.

Now it's just about sexual predators in media.

Thrive to spite them

I kept thinking it would be money laundering with Trump . After reading 2 past depositions of Trump's and other stuff I have a hard time believing his wealth isn't much more than smoke and mirrors and money laundering.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Husband picked up food on his way home, and they left the chicken out of my salad. Curse you, Monday.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Sounds like he's got as much history as Weinstein.

Yes. Nobody I know in the TV/film/theater world was surprised.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Trump hasn't tweeted in seven hours. Maybe he's had a rage blackout.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am sorry to hear about Strega. Thank you for posting about it, Cindy.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Trump hasn't tweeted in seven hours. Maybe he's had a rage blackout.

He knows that Papadopoulos has screwed him SO HARD.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

They took the phone and locked it in a small windowless room, and every time Trump looks for it, they say, "Oh, the phone was just here! You just missed it."

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

A judge has overruled Manafort's attorney-client privilege, citing the "crime-fraud exception", allowing Mueller to compel her to testify. "Her" being Manafort&Gates' attorney, name redacted.

This is...unusual.

Here's a link to the document.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wasn't George Papadopalous the name of Webster's dad in "Webster"?
