Thanks, all. Your support really means a lot. And if anyone wants to do anything for me and my family, a donation to the Alzheimer's Association would be wonderful.
Now I'm trying to figure out what to say to a senior colleague who I owed something to on Friday. Yikes.
Blessings on your family, Jesse. I am so sorry for your loss.
Did you have the conversation with your senior colleague yet?
I am so sorry, Jesse. Much love to you and your mom, and peace upon your father's spirit.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Jesse. Much love to you and your Mom and all your father's people.
I'm so sorry, Jesse. So much love to you and your mom.
Staggered awake, logged on to discover that an all-hands meeting was in progress. Since we just had a quarterly meeting, I figured something was up. And we've been acquired.
It sounds like they don't expect much to change, but I was still not mentally equipped to handle this right now.
On the other hand, also in my email was a notice of a 2.5% merit raise. Woot.
Yay raise, Dana. Good luck with the other thing.
Jesse, I'd think "sorry, my father passed away this weekend" and either "x person can help you instead of me" or "I can get this to you on (future date)" would suffice!
OH my god my coworker is irritating this morning.
