Jesse, I'd think "sorry, my father passed away this weekend" and either "x person can help you instead of me" or "I can get this to you on (future date)" would suffice!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

OH my god my coworker is irritating this morning.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Jesse, I'm so sorry for your loss. It IS always sudden.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am so sorry, Jesse

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Jesse, I'm so sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good news and good luck, Dana.

To add insult to injury, my DVR deleted all my saved shows! WTF.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Come on DVR, don't be like that! Jesse needs your support.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My deepest sympathies for you and your mother, Jesse.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I'm so sorry, Jesse. I've also had the "It's always sudden" line in my head A LOT lately. If you need someone to talk to, or to cry with, let me know.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks so much. We have a lot of support, which is great. My mother's usual Monday coffee date came over here instead this morning, and his father just died over the summer, so he knows what's up.
