Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

Because books.

biometric time clock

Is that one of the fingerprint ones? We had one of those at H&M when I worked there, and half the time it wouldn't read my fingerprint.

Yep, fingerprint.

I get paid for my 10 minute breaks but not for lunch, Matt. I get clocked for all of them, though. It's supposedly to ensure that I am getting my legally mandated breaks, so, whatever. That starts Thursday. Sigh.

Yup. So far so good, I guess.

No long weekend here. Next company holiday is Thanksgiving. Makes for a long stretch.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

[Canadian] Thanksgiving! (Columbus Day to you folk.)

I have gained a little weight and am trying to eat less candy, so every day I resolve "no candy" but then every day seems to boil down to "kill my husband, or eat candy?" and I eat candy. Sigh.

Home renovations, they're not for kids, folks, and my husband seems like he's actually a kid hiding in the body of a 6'6" 48 year old.
