Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A coworker just asked me if I'm ready for the long weekend. I mean, I am! But there are so many days left in this week.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Seriously, coworker, that is a Thursday question.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I think my migraine is abating. It's probably because I left a message for my neuro this morning in a slight panic, since I get on a plane for London in two days.

I hope so, too, Dana!

Seriously, coworker, that is a Thursday question.

I'm pretty sure she was reading my face, and she was not wrong.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm set up on the biometric time clock. Mixed feelings about that. I gotta start clocking out for all my breaks, y'all!

Because books.

biometric time clock

Is that one of the fingerprint ones? We had one of those at H&M when I worked there, and half the time it wouldn't read my fingerprint.

Yep, fingerprint.

I get paid for my 10 minute breaks but not for lunch, Matt. I get clocked for all of them, though. It's supposedly to ensure that I am getting my legally mandated breaks, so, whatever. That starts Thursday. Sigh.
