I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Jesus. I had something flippant to say about something else, but it's gone now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nope. If schoolchildren being killed in the Sandy Hook shooting didn't lead to any measure of gun control, there is literally nothing that will. Because politicians are bought by the NRA, and they value guns more than they value human life.

I know you're right.

Hell, we'll probably have representatives saying that people should be allowed to own RPGs so they can take out snipers.

Oh yeah, if only more of those Jason Aldean fans had been carrying surface-to-air missiles with them!

Coding and Sleeping

The NRA has won so completely that the debate isn't whether people should be able to own guns, but stuff like making sure people can take an assault rifle to the grocery store or passing laws making it easier to legally kill people.

I don't know what to do. What can we possibly do?

Because books.

I don't know that this can be labeled as terrorism yet. Terrorism depends on the motivation and there isn't any information on the motivation yet.

I honestly don't think it's necessary to split hairs here. This man created terror and chaos, intentionally, with intent to kill. That's good enough for me.

Agreed. I also read that Nevada state law defines a mass shooting as terrorism, so.

What do you even say to that?
