There's more than one way to skin a cat. And I happen to know that's factually true.

The NRA has won so completely that the debate isn't whether people should be able to own guns, but stuff like making sure people can take an assault rifle to the grocery store or passing laws making it easier to legally kill people.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I don't know what to do. What can we possibly do?

Because books.

I don't know that this can be labeled as terrorism yet. Terrorism depends on the motivation and there isn't any information on the motivation yet.

I honestly don't think it's necessary to split hairs here. This man created terror and chaos, intentionally, with intent to kill. That's good enough for me.

Agreed. I also read that Nevada state law defines a mass shooting as terrorism, so.

From the business news:

Shares of major gun manufacturers rose in premarket trading Monday following the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history.

What do you even say to that?

Thrive to spite them

I called Congress offices today. Tillis' staffer told me they couldn't have responded sooner to Puerto Rico because of the vast infrastructure damage. And I was so pissed I didn't even say "then why could Pitbull land a plane there? Why could the cruise lines get there?"

This kind of thing is what happens when business people with no knowledge of government decided they can do things better. It's an embarrassment. I said that as well.

I also said that unless the Senator does something anytyhing he says along "thoughs and prayers" might as well be blah blah blah because it's just as meaningless.

Of course the FIRST comment I saw on FB about the shooting was someone saying it was a false flag to take guns away.

And I saw Lin Manuel Miranda is getting death threats in FB comments for his criticism of Trump

I saw that, too. Not surprised, because people are horrible.

I am very pessimistic and gloomy today.
