I've only taken Squeaky on short trips to the vet, plus a half-hour drive when we moved here. She generally tolerates it ok. I'm thinking she'll probably sleep on a longer drive.

Thrive to spite them
When I moved from VT to NC I sedated Penny the first day of the trip but not the second (or maybe the first 2 days and not the third. it's kind of a blur). She did ok after she had been sedated and gotten used to it.
Previously when she'd gone to the vet she'd managed to pee all over the carrier but going to AND from the vet.
