And bestest of all, DH is here with me after driving 36 hours straight through with a few cat naps here and there. He slept 11 hours after he arrived! Now poking around doing fix up projects on my house here since that is how he rolls.

You know that thing where you bite your tongue or the inside of your cheek and then it swells up and so you accidentally bite it multiple times?
Just bit my lip hard four times in a row trying to finish a bagel.
I hope the bagel was tasty as hell and therefore worth it.

Just got a report from my cousin that she and my dad have no power but are okay so far. Just high winds. The worst of the storm is still a couple of hours away.

Yep. He is outside washing his truck now. He is doing something or sleeping. He has only 2 modes. He has to have hernia surgery, which has been delayed several times because of his weight. I dread his recovery because sitting around not doing anything will be pure torture.
