We went out and got a tv for the kitchen in our new place. We haven't had any tv since we got here. TheDH is currently hooking it up for us. He's wearing overalls because those are his work clothes. It's way too dark in this room, something we'll deal with later, so he's wearing a headlamp thingie he got for cooking outside on his head. So, he's in overalls, In a headlamp, explaining to the dogs each step of the process. I LOVE THIS DUDE SO MUCH.

As long as he's not wearing shorty overalls. Saw a giant of a long bearded, baseball capped, white dude of a greying age wearing a pair of shorty khaki ones a bit too small for him rummaging in his plumbing truck today. It was a sartorial statement I cannot decipher. But I never thought I'd come so close to seeing buttcheek from that end of a plumber's pants.

Irma update: Sister & Brother and pets safely at my house. Just lost power a bit ago, but house is well insulated and they cranked up the AC prior to losing power. Son & GF also without power but safe & secure a bit north or my house. #1 son in Sunrise FL still with power and amusing me with foolish text updates this morning. Unfortunately the forecast for where step-dad and sibs live in Bonita Springs is expecting a storm surge of 10-15 feet which will be devastating.
