That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Just read her concession speech, and now I'm having a hard time not breaking down sobbing at work.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I hate to say it, but I'd rather swallow the horror of Pence than the horror of a nuclear war. It's like Death is Not an Option, only in this case, it is.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

"Donnie, Donnie, but see the thing is, if you break your shiny toy, there aren't any more toys. Or a toybox. Or a toy store. Take a deep breath, back away from the big red button. Here go break some brown people's lives, instead. That'll be fun, right?"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am going to do some research and I am only going to buy female artists, authors for the next year or so unless I know the people personally. Female owned businesses are going to get my business. Male POC if I know their stances may get my business, but I am feeling strongly anti-patriarchy across the board.

One of the male activists I follow on Twitter was encouraging 3rd party voting for weeks if not months and today he is blaming HRC and DNC for results.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just started ranting and raving in a meeting about the new FLSA regulations, so probably I shouldn't reply to any emails that are making me mad today.

This is where I'm at, too.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

This needs to spread like wildfire, y'all: [link]

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Fuck this year. Seriously. The wife just got rear-ended on the Interstate. She and my son are fine, thank God, (though she thinks she might have whiplash and/or a concussion) but her car is a total loss. I'm waiting for the tow truck driver to get them home and her to call me so we can figure out what the hell we're doing to do.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oh, no Kalshane! Tons of ~am.

Oh no! I'm glad they weren't seriously injured!

I got the opposite sort of news awhile ago. A teenage boy I indirectly know here in Belgium fell down some stairs two and a half weeks ago. He died and was revived, but he's been in a coma since with so much swelling they've been unable to do an MRI to test his brain function. And today, miraculously, he woke up. Completely unexpectedly.
