Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Laura, I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Spent an hour walking thru the neighborhood and alleys, looking for Kittyboy ( my friend-neighbor's' beloved cat) and calling out to people on porches to ask if they'd seen him & handing out flyers. I hope he'll come sauntering home tonight, he's never been gone more than overnight in his younger days and it's been a day. Sarah's a mess.

...and I just missed a stolen car getting crashed around the corner. Presence of foxtrot and cops cruising the alleys probably made him go further to ground.

Aaaaand he's home, caught by Loki & I. I'd put tuna out on my porch at Sarah's suggestion, and had my French doors open, thinking my cats would alert me to anything. Sure enough, a little while ago, Loki started acting all hinked, so I went out front, calling, and KB emerged from Anna's bushes. I'm sure he'd been on the porch until I opened the door. He came right to me, I scooped him up & as I was figuring out how to grab their key from inside, I saw them walking up the block with a flashlight & yelled to them.

So it all ends well.

Presence of foxtrot

I only know what that means because of The Wire.

Herding cats for fun

I'll sleep well knowing the kitty got home safe.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Laura, that's just tough. There is no way around it. Much love to you and yours right now.

sarameg, I am so glad for Sarah and Kittyboy. Thank you for being such a good friend. (I remember when my mom's house got broken into after I'd gone off to college, the worst part was the burglars leaving the window smashed open so my cat got out. She was twelve-ish, declawed, and an indoor cat. My mom's Avon lady helped mom search for a whole week, calling for the cat all over the neighborhood. And by gum, eventually they found her hiding in the shrubbery in our back-neighbor's yard. I remain forever grateful to people who help look for someone else's pet.) Here's to happy endings!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Laura, that is tough

My uncle has been moved home and is apparently regretting his decision to forgive further treatment and is in a lot of pain. Pain is not what palliative care is about, and I feel like I could advocate as nursing adjacent but my aunt is not really accepting help. He was also told he was not eligible for out of home hospice care because he weighs over 200 pounds, whicj seems like NS to me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I can't quite believe that.
