I have a bloody footprint bathmat, but as my cats love sitting on it and their litterbox is right there in the bathroom, it's getting pretty grubby. I was considering getting some kind of wire tool to beat the dirt out of it like a saddleblanket rather than risk it in the washing machine.

Drove from Ottawa to Toronto today, with a stop to meet a friend and her wife(who we met once, in 2005) for lunch. Awful traffic on 401 in many spots. To top it all off, Mr. S was being more unruly than usual at dinner, and now he won't go to bed.

reversible, no rubber backing. The people I nannied for a million years ago in NY had ones like this and I liked them so much more than the polyester rubber backed things I grew up with. They are old and stained and I just keep using them. They are GREAT for soaking up water spills also.
Happy anniversary, Sheryl. I hope Mr. S conks out soon so you have a peaceful evening.
Hang in there, Dana.
Happy anniversary, Sheryl!
