reversible, no rubber backing. The people I nannied for a million years ago in NY had ones like this and I liked them so much more than the polyester rubber backed things I grew up with. They are old and stained and I just keep using them. They are GREAT for soaking up water spills also.

I'm being a bad neighbor because it's National Night Out and I'm huddled over my laptop. I did walk through the gathering and let the kids all pet my dog, though, which counts for something.
