Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

Coding and Sleeping

My thinking is that this make what they have to do very clear while giving them some agency. Also, they get to see that I'm still doing more chores then they are so they can't complain :)

How far do I have to scroll in AAM before it's more than just people arguing about the definition of millennial?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Quite a while. It's a sore subject over there.

brillig

I liked the "stop making us actually professional millennials look bad, doofus!" bits.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, go ahead and collapse those threads.

I love those magnets, Gud!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

How far do I have to scroll in AAM before it's more than just people arguing about the definition of millennial?

I suggest you do a search on "Letter Writer". It'll get a bunch of other people's posts, but it'll also turn up the original letter writer's comments a lot more quickly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In my management life, someone just told me she didn't think it was "emotionally safe" for people to talk about missing our team member who just left. What the actual fuck? She's not dead -- you can still be friends with her! And sure, express some sadness that she's left, but so help me if that carries over to when we have a new hire. This person is such a piece of work. People outside my team LOVE working with her, but she makes me nuts.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In short, I guess she is right that it is not emotionally safe! But I did keep all of that on the inside.

Jesse, hah! Yes, a big part of good management is knowing what to keep mum on until you're here, or at the bar with your friends.

That's a big part of being a good employee in general, IMO.
