Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

In the continuing saga of my phone, Macy's did not return my calls(I called from work this morning and left a message with my work number). After dinner I went to the nearby Sprint store, only to find that since the account is in Gary's name, and I am not an authorized user on said account, they can't upgrade me. Which means that either Gary comes with me to get the phone, or he makes me an authorized user on the account. Feh.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Well that's no fun, Sheryl.

ETA: Somebody tell me I want to inquire about private swim lessons at the community pool so I can learn the Tarzan stroke and swim laps without putting my face in the water.

Coding and Sleeping

And so, the Dems lose again. Awesome.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Wow, I'm up early enough to almost catch the night shift.

Our flight out of Vienna is at 7:50, which meant the alarm went off at 4:30. We get home tonight almost 7PM local time, which, if you add 7 hours, will be 14 Vienna time.

No, that's not right. It will be 2AM, so we'll have been up for almost 24 hours. I'm really glad we decided to get a hotel near the airport in Houston and make the drive back on Thursday.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hi, Dana. Safe travels.

Heathrow! Place of people who speak English. Everyone should speak whatever language they want, of course, but I get back that part of my brain that was trying to remember German words.

Since we have a five-hour layover, we're conducting a thorough review of food options.

And I hear Netflix has a British version of Hoarders. Y'all might be in trouble again.

Our wings are not tired.

Hi Dana! At this hour you could have a meeting or something.

And so, the Dems lose again. Awesome.

Yeah, I listened to and read some of the learned analysis, but I was left thinking that throwing tons of money at these elections really only serves to make television watching annoying and mailboxes full but changes nothing.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy birthday Epic!

I picked up on those subtle cues.

Safe travels, Dana.

Gah, Sheryl.

Good day for an Epic birthday!

Sheryl's phone saga reminds me that I have my childhood phone number as the pin for our cell phone account. The idea was to keep the kids from being able to upgrade since the know all my usual passwords.
