I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Worked from home today so I was able to watch the Comey testimony. good times. Also helped mom and aunt get things priced for garage sale tomorrow and thru the weekend. Lord this friend of theirs had STUFF.

We were already able to sell $80 work of china to a dealer, so that is good.

Today also saw a dog with tags wandering down the street, she wouldn't come to me, but later when I was getting in my car, she was back and jumped right in with me. She had tags and belongs to people a few houses down that I had never met, so now I have met them and know Ladybug, a dog who digs out.

E is on day 2.5 of not speaking with me. so that was fun to deal with around my mom and aunt.

Gud, thanks for all the work you're doing to keep the board up & running!

Most of what you say about the work you are doing goes right over my head - so all I can do is imagine how hard you are working, and thank you.

Coding and Sleeping

Well, I'm not doing anything with the current site since I decided to start a new codebase. Once done though, we'll no long have the security holes, it will format much nicer on mobile devices, and logout and registration will work correctly again. It should also be much easier to maintain. PHP and the PHP ecosystem has come a long ways since the original code was written so a lot of the work that went into the original site will now be handled by third-party open source libraries.

I respect your level of knowledge.

Yeah, thanks for the work you're doing, Gud. I appreciate it a lot. I don't know if it means more or less if I also tell you that I've been arguing with software engineers and blocking launches all week.

Wow, waking up to political results which are not shit. I'd forgotten what that feels like.

I feel a little more hope for the UK.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Hooray for you guys, Fiona.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Actual email from the pie chart author today:

"I haven't heard back yet from JAMA leadership. They are probably searching for the long-ago reason they declared war on pie charts."

I couldn't make up that level of passive-aggressiveness if I tried. Holy shit, lady. You need to back the truck all the way up.
