If alla y'all didn't get your telegraphs, I don't know what to tell you.
Are you saying my Ouija board is defective? HOW DARE YOU.
I am also being nibbled to death by ducks, with a side of the Brain Raccoons telling me that I suck at my job, and now that the team has another writer, they're going to get rid of me. I know this isn't true, but the Brain Raccoons are so very loud right now.
Just back from Stitch Niche - the library's twice monthly fibery group and got invited to a Ramadan feast. But am much too tired to go. (And immediately thought how tough to have to fast til sundown at the time when the days are the longest.)
Neat, sumi! Ramadan moves around the calendar, anytime it falls in the summer must be hard.
I meant to say sorry about the ducks, Noise, and hang in there. You too Jilli.
I am on my way to my niece's high school graduation, currently full of wine with latte in hand. It's a good balance. I started this trip walking down the street pulling my luggage behind me, and soon I'll be in the air. What a world!
Hivemind - I need recommendations for a true red eye shadow. Red red.
Now that the lighthearted stuff is out of the way... just found out a friend was taken off life support. She is an alcoholic who had finally gone to rehab but her organs were already in failure. It sucks and I don't want to be mad at her while she is breathing her last breath. But damn. A mutual friend is much closer to her and my heart is breaking for mutual friend too.
Back off, ducks! Shutcher cake holes, raccoons!
Oh Suzi, how heartbreaking!
Hivemind - I need recommendations for a true red eye shadow. Red red.
Warm or cool toned? If you want cool toned, then the best red eyeshadow is Make Up For Ever "Morello Cherry", number M846.
Warm toned? That will take me a minute to find, because I generally don't look for those.
Urban Decay's "Gash", which they finally brought back, is a warm toned red. (I am still mad that it is a warm toned red, because it's the color Gerard Way wore all through the Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge era, and I am ridiculous fan girl.)
Thanks Jilli, I'll pass the recommendations along to Kelly who asked if I had any ideas.
Wait, if she's getting a carrier pigeon I want one!
Upon mature reflection I put forth this thought for your consideration: Train the surplus duck population to carry messages. This scheme will render the ducks useful and happy in their usefulness therefore less prone to nibbling.
