We're killing time waiting for my mom to get her breathing tube out. It looks horribly uncomfortable. But she's still groggy from the anesthesia and she has to be awake and breathing on her own for a full half hour before they can take the tube out, and she keeps drifting back to sleep.

Bleah. I woke up coughing early this morning. It's this annoying tickle in my throat. My back hurts, and I'm feeling cold. I hope this isn't anything serious, as we're going to visit my folks up North this weekend.
