"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Turns out it was lucky I allowed 3 extra hours before the play for dinner and mishaps Friday night, as the rain and traffic stoppages added about an hour and a half to my driving time and I forgot Atlanta is on EST rather than CST. Still got there in time for the start, and the show was awesome fun. Ellie Styron's Jane in particular was hilarious. I was surprised this production had full nudity given the recent outrage from religious watchdog groups (not that I'm complaining, as the actor playing Steve looks like the love child of Tyler Hoechlin and one of the Ashmore twins). The director said they'd received enough threats that police were concerned and beefed up patrols in the neighborhood.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Woo! And might I add, Hoo! for the new car, Connie.

Dana, I hope your pain eases soon.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yay play! I'm glad you overcame all challenges and yay full nudity, Matt!

That doesn't sound right. Or maybe it's exactly right. I honestly don't know.

I went to the theater! Except it turns out it was not my night to be ushering. So instead I went to see Their Finest, which is an odd, but endearing movie about making inspirational films during the Blitz. Bill Nighy is fantastic, and the rest of the cast is very good too.

I realized, leaving, that it was the sort of film Dad would have really liked.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We took the dogs and drove around all day, stopping at various parks, while the realtors held the first public open house. They said they got over 50 people, which they said was a lot. They also said several real estate agents have contacted them to ask what the deadline is on offers. Our house may actually sell this week!

Which would be great, as keeping it this pristine is TIRING. One more open house tomorrow.

Our wings are not tired.

I am now the proud owner of a 2016 Subaru Impreza.

Awesome! You not only deserve a good reliable car, you need one!

Tim didn't walk it with me, so I knew I'd need music to keep me from getting bored and thinking "Are we THERE yet???" after about half a mile.

I had Tate with me the last one, and will have her and her mom with me next weekend. I am miss chatty on the walks. When I get to Otter Lake and start hoofing regularly music will be required. It is already too hot to walk outside here. Even at 7:30 AM next weekend it is forecast as 77F with 80% humidity. Yuck. If it wasn't for Mother's Day I wouldn't try it.

I'm sorry that there hasn't been a better result, Dana. Boo back pain!

I survived Beethoven!

Woo!

I'm glad you overcame all challenges and yay full nudity, Matt!

This!

Scrappy, may this be the last day of Open House with perfect offers pouring in shortly. Bidding wars!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The movie was fun. This was the first time we left Mr. S with a babysitter who wasn't family or a friend, and it went well.

Laura, where are you going to move to?

Our wings are not tired.

When I finally sell this house, trying again in June, we'll just move a bit further south closer to Fort Lauderdale. Most likely Pompano Beach.
