We took the dogs and drove around all day, stopping at various parks, while the realtors held the first public open house. They said they got over 50 people, which they said was a lot. They also said several real estate agents have contacted them to ask what the deadline is on offers. Our house may actually sell this week!
Which would be great, as keeping it this pristine is TIRING. One more open house tomorrow.
I am now the proud owner of a 2016 Subaru Impreza.
Awesome! You not only deserve a good reliable car, you need one!
Tim didn't walk it with me, so I knew I'd need music to keep me from getting bored and thinking "Are we THERE yet???" after about half a mile.
I had Tate with me the last one, and will have her and her mom with me next weekend. I am miss chatty on the walks. When I get to Otter Lake and start hoofing regularly music will be required. It is already too hot to walk outside here. Even at 7:30 AM next weekend it is forecast as 77F with 80% humidity. Yuck. If it wasn't for Mother's Day I wouldn't try it.
I'm sorry that there hasn't been a better result, Dana. Boo back pain!
I survived Beethoven!
Woo!
I'm glad you overcame all challenges and yay full nudity, Matt!
This!
Scrappy, may this be the last day of Open House with perfect offers pouring in shortly. Bidding wars!
Timelies all!
The movie was fun. This was the first time we left Mr. S with a babysitter who wasn't family or a friend, and it went well.
Laura, where are you going to move to?
When I finally sell this house, trying again in June, we'll just move a bit further south closer to Fort Lauderdale. Most likely Pompano Beach.
Unrelatedly:
Y'all, this kitten may be the cutest kitten I've had. Like, seriously. He's really fucking cute. And sweet. Two of my friends came over yesterday and may adopt him, which would be awesome.
I'm at home again! With my Kindle! This is very comforting.
I went out to Denny's for breakfast, then headed to the grocery store. Then my favorite rock song came on, over my brand new, five-speaking, fully functioning stereo system. It would only be a third over by the time I got to the grocery store. I turned it up and kept driving, though I did go to the grocery store when it was done.

Yay Dana!
Yay Sumi!
Yay Matt!
Yay other people!
Good luck, Scrappy!
I kind of don't know how my mother does it -- I am not usually with her for most of Sunday, but getting there before 9 for choir, then she led a meeting after church, then visiting my father, is quite a full day! I'm wiped out and I didn't even have to do the hard parts.
