And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Turns out if you get enough sleep the night before, 7AM meetings are not so unbearable.

Sorry, I was unable to replicate the results of this study.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Hooray for eclipse plans!

I was unable to get a Unicorn Frappuccino from Starbucks this morning, reportedly the entire district (whatever that encompasses) is out of all the ingredients. They gave me a mocha frap-however-that's-spelled with extra sprinkles and toppings instead. BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Chris Evans to make his Broadway debut, starring opposite Michael Cera. Jeez, that's like matter and antimatter, or something.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

A rematch of the Scott Pilgrim battle, perhaps?

I maintain that's Chris Evans' finest role. FIGHT ME.

brillig

Is there a female version of "emasculated"? I can't think of a word that describes feeling less of a woman after an event or action.

(inspired by yet another man who apparently resents having to ask for help with his computer and isn't at all happy that the nerds have more power than he does in a situation.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Aw, yeah, the first Fast and the Furious movie is just starting on TV. I don't think I've seen it since the theater.

Father-in-law update: he's moved to his new room on the assisted living side and went to eat lunch in the dining room and apparently is sitting with 3 other men and they're talking about sea turtles. Yay!

Don't know if he has more pants yet, though.
