I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, Pumpkin.

I can't remember; who reads Dumbing of Age? -t, is it you?

It is me! And, yeah, that took quite a turn. Meep.

Also, I just tried the pumpkin ginger mini ice cream sandwiches after they were properly frozen (they were a little melty after being in my car on Friday) and found them very nice. I have not tried making my own out of pumpkin ice cream and ginger cookies, though.

I'm seriously stressed out about it. Fiction messes me up, man. I have to stay up until midnight so I can read tomorrow's strip as soon as it posts.

Business apparel query: black pleather knee-length skirt with animal print (I want to say leopard but I'm not certain) short-sleeved blouse, too much? OK with the right shoes? What are the right shoes?

I think a skirt that length is fine, maybe with flats? You basically want everything else to be understated so as to avoid the I'm-On-My-Way-To-The-Nightclub look. (I know no one uses the word "nightclub," but you get my point.)

I highly recommend making your own, t! With the ginger thins.

I ran a race (which felt awful but was only a minute slower than last month). And then caught up on TV, and hung out with a baby! And it's only 540! Being home all weekend is awesome!

Also, yay refinance! And yum, salmon--Friday when my parents were in town we went to I ar's Salmon House, and dad and I both got the salmon sampler--king, coho, and sockeye.

Sorry, black pleather animal print? I...is it black, or animal print? I feel like black pleather skirt is hard to pull off for business, but animal print pleather would be near impossible.

Agreed, but your vision of business may vary.

No, it's black pleather skirt with animal-print blouse.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I think the blouse is animal print, not the skirt, but I am guessing here.

I was exhaustle-pated and had a lie down. Didn't actually nap, but rest was good. Now I am making dinner for everyone. Sandwiches for Cody and myself because he asked for that, ravioli for the kids because they asked for that too.

No, it's a black pleather skirt and, separately, an animal print blouse. I bought them at the same time, and they would totally go together, but I'm thinking maybe not to the office. OTOH, what would go better with the skirt? Solid long-sleeve blouse, maybe? Sweater?

Yay being home being awesome!

Not gonna wear it tomorrow, in any case - high of 91 pretty much puts the kibosh on pleather.

I have to stay up until midnight so I can read tomorrow's strip as soon as it posts.

I totally get that. I don't think Willis is gonna go full Minear on us, but who knows? And that would be pretty upsetting.

New TJs find: feta spread. It's basically a cream cheese+ yogurt+ feta with a sorta Mideast/ Greek herb blend of garlic, mint, basil and oregano . Like. Good on lots of things.
