New TJs find: feta spread. It's basically a cream cheese+ yogurt+ feta with a sorta Mideast/ Greek herb blend of garlic, mint, basil and oregano . Like. Good on lots of things.

So, for freezing purposes, should I make butternut/black bean enchiladas, or a butternut/kale pasta bake?
No, it's a black pleather skirt and, separately, an animal print blouse. I bought them at the same time, and they would totally go together, but I'm thinking maybe not to the office. OTOH, what would go better with the skirt? Solid long-sleeve blouse, maybe? Sweater?
Anything understated. That balances out the pleather.
I have to stay up until midnight so I can read tomorrow's strip as soon as it posts.
I totally get that. I don't think Willis is gonna go full Minear on us, but who knows? And that would be pretty upsetting.
He killed Dina off in a previous strip. And he killed Ruth off in a different previous strip. DoA is basically all his previous strips thrown into a blender and remixed.
He's said repeatedly that no one will die in DoA. But there's a lot of awful shit that can happen short of dying.

I've made bean-less butternut squash enchiladas, and they freeze and reheat well. But lasagna freezes and reheats well, too (which is my comparison food for the pasta bake), so...basically, I'm no help.
Yeah, I know, I just don't feel like he's going there right now. But that could, of course, be wishful thinking.
Those both sound good - do you have something else to do with the kale if you don't do the bake? That would be the deciding factor for me, I think, what will keep if you don't use it.
I got kissed by a sea lion. It was fishy, yet adorable.
WOO HOO, vacation!
I'm flying to Canada tomorrow, so I'm cooking up a bunch of things to freeze. I'm making beet pesto right now and need to find something to do with the zucchini. I may try out the cauliflower tots recipe tonight for dinner, too.
I also need to do laundry and pack and schedule transportation to the airport. But I'm checked in, I know where my passport is, I picked up a birthday present for my brother, and I remembered to refill my prescriptions, so I think I'm okay to sit on the couch for a little while and veg.

I want ToeDad to die in a fire, but unfortunately DoA is realistic (unlike his other strips).
Unrelatedly, oh god I need to stop coughing. Robitussin, you are so disappointing.

Kale tends to get kind of chewy if you freeze it.

I have a crapload of kale (maybe some of it is chard?), and also plans to make a kale/quinoa thing for more immediate eating. I think I can make the pasta without shopping, so that might win by default.
